Hironishi Genshin
Hironishi Genshin is one of the Karateka,
who followed the Karate-style of Funakoshi Yoshitakas. He was born in 1913
and studied at the Waseda Universität. He had been a close friend
of Yoshitaka.
Practicing Karate in the traditionell
way at the Shotokan-Dojo, he represented the Shotokai organisition (together
with Egami). After the dead of Egami in 1981 he became the head of the
organization.
Hironishi Genshin was one the main-teacher
in the Shotokan-Dojo after 1943 and he also thaught at the Chuo- and the
Senshu-university in Tokyo.
