KATO SADASHIGE (born 1943)

  KATO SADASHIGE

Kato Sadashige was born on 22nd July 1943 in Kochi (Japan). He studied at the Takushoku University of Tokio. There he learned Karate under guidance of Sensei TSUYAMA, KANAZAWA and URUI.
Kato was especially influenced by Kanazawa.

Later he took part in the Instructor’s program of the JKA after which he was sent to Europe. There, again, he learned under tutelage of master Kanazawa and Enoeda.
So he came to Germany and in 1966 to Great Britain, where he lives and teaches today.

Kato is famous for his hip work and his precise techniques.
He possesses the 8th Dan in Shotokan Karate.
